Project/Casting Description:
New Amazon TV series, Z: The Beginning of Everything is now filming in the NYC area (Manhattan) and casting extras to work as paid background actors next week for a party scene. GWC is taking submissions ASAP from NY / Tri-State area locals who would like to be considered for the paid roles. Please note this is a period show, takes place in 1918. Men should be comfortable receiving a 1918 haircut (includes side burns) and being clean shaven. The upcoming streaming series is a period piece about the life of Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald, Southern Belle turned flapper, writer and icon of modern feminism. “Z” stars Christina Ricci as Zelda Sayre, a young woman who is getting bored with her life in Montgomery, Alabama. The show is based on Therese Anne Fowler’s novel about Zelda. ”Z” is set in 1918, right before Zelda meets unpublished writer F. Scott Fitzgerald. Z: The Beginning of Everything follows the life of a woman ahead of her time and her relationship with F. Scott Fitzgerald. The couple exploits make the pair the most famous, and infamous, couple of the Roaring 1920s.

GWCI is seeking SAG-AFTRA and NON UNION MEN AND WOMEN to portray Biltmore party guests for the new Amazon series starring Christina Ricci, “Z: The Beginning of Everything”.
