Project/Casting Description:
Casting “IE Shakespeare," a new website series based on the plays of William Shakespeare, but taking place in modern day Southern California and the Inland Empire region. The 20-part web series, created and co-written by Picasso Mendez, brings together iconic characters created by William Shakespeare in Southern California's Inland Empire as Iago investigates the events that led up to the December 2, 2015 Tragedy in San Bernardino.
 
 

Project Story/Logline:
What it would be like if the most notable characters from the able pen of William Shakespeare all lived next door to one another in Southern California's Inland Empire? The world of the master storyteller is about to be turned on its head with Prufrock Media's IE Shakespeare - a 20-part web series where an array of the Bards characters mingle together in modern day Southern California's Inland Empire region, as 'honest' Iago, the 'brave' Falstaff and the 'fair' Cesario come together to solve disappearance of the newly-wed Romeo and Juliet while learning about and trying to prevent the tragedy of December 2, 2015 in San Bernardino
